BambooHR pricing in the UK
BambooHR does publish its prices, which puts it ahead of most rivals. The catch for a UK buyer is that they are in dollars - and that below 26 people the per-employee rate is not what you pay.
BambooHR publishes real per-employee prices, which is more than most of its rivals manage - but only in US dollars, and with a flat rate below 25 employees that changes the maths for small UK teams. Core is $10 per employee per month, Pro $17 and Elite $25. At 25 employees or fewer you pay a flat $250 a month regardless of headcount (bamboohr.com, checked 15 August 2026).
What does BambooHR cost?
| Plan | Published price | Positioned as |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $10 per employee / month | Foundational HR automation |
| Pro | $17 per employee / month | People-focused tooling |
| Elite | $25 per employee / month | Insights and benchmarks |
| 25 employees or fewer | $250 / month flat | Not priced per employee |
BambooHR also states automatic volume discounts as headcount rises, a 15% bundle discount for combining payroll and benefits administration, and a further 15% for registered nonprofits.
Three things a UK buyer should notice
There is no GBP price list. That does not make BambooHR expensive, but it does mean the number you budget is not the number you pay every month, and a 5% currency move is a 5% price rise you did not agree to. Ask for a GBP-denominated quote before you compare.
The flat $250 a month floor means a team of 8 pays $250 and a team of 25 pays $250 - about $31 per person at 8 people, and $10 at 25. If you are a small team, the headline "$10 per employee" is not your price. This is the single most common misreading of BambooHR's pricing.
Payroll and benefits administration are marked as US-employee only. A UK buyer comparing a bundled quote should check line by line which modules actually apply, or the comparison flatters whichever product includes more that you can use.

Where BambooHR wins: a bigger integration ecosystem, a longer track record and a deeper US benefits story. If you employ people in the States, that matters more than anything on this page. See the fuller feature view on our BambooHR alternative page.
How to compare the two fairly
- Convert at today's rate, then add the spread your bank charges. Compare in one currency.
- Price your real headcount, not the tier. Under 26 people, use $250, not $10 × staff.
- Strike out modules that are US-only before you total anything.
- Ask both vendors what the renewal rate is. A first-year discount is not a price.
Our own figures are on the pricing page, and the UK HR software cost guide covers the hidden lines - setup fees, seat minimums and tier creep - that make headline rates hard to compare.
Prices and features move. Everything here was checked on the date shown against each vendor's own published pricing, and we link to it so you can confirm rather than take our word for it. If we have a detail wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
Check it yourself: BambooHR publishes its own terms - see their pricing page. Checked 17 August 2026. Prices and packaging move, and theirs are theirs to state, so confirm before you decide.

Pricing you can read without a sales call
CoDash publishes every figure: £99 a month including 10 people on Starter, £149 on Growth, £249 on Scale, then a flat per-person rate. No setup fee, no seat minimum, and the price on the page is the price.
