All-in-one HR software for UK teams of 20 to 1,000
CoDash replaces the HR spreadsheet, the leave tracker, the recognition app, the survey tool and the review document with one dashboard - built around a single set of people, teams and permissions.
CoDash is an all-in-one HR and employee-experience platform for UK teams of 20 to 1,000. It combines a people directory and org chart, time off and absence, a community feed with kudos and celebrations, anonymous voice, surveys and eNPS, and full performance management - 1:1s, goals and OKRs, reviews and 360 - behind privacy that is enforced in code rather than promised in a policy.
Five clusters, one system
Every module reads from the same people, teams and reporting lines - so time off knows who covers for whom, performance knows who reports to whom, and privacy applies everywhere at once.
Operations & time off
The day-to-day, handled before anyone has to ask.
- Range-paint calendar, team month view and capacity guardrails
- Auto-approval when a team stays covered; multi-step chains for long leave
- TOIL, sabbaticals, Bradford Factor and return-to-work interviews
- Expenses with receipts, HMRC mileage, payment runs and accounting export
- Clock-in/out attendance and timesheets - forgotten clock-outs close themselves
- Rotas drafted per team and published in one go - shifts emailed to people; a hybrid week view of who's in
- Asset and supplier registers - kit issued per person, returned at offboarding
- Hiring: openings, applicant tracking and a public apply page - candidates never create an account
Community, voice & surveys
The part of HR software people actually open.
- Feed, kudos, celebrations - and announcements targeted by team, department or location, with acknowledgement tracking and a one-tap chase for stragglers
- Anonymous voice and suggestions with no author column
- Surveys, weekly eNPS and pulse - aggregated, never per-person
- Ask HR - a confidential two-way channel where every reply is logged in one place
- An in-app assistant that answers from someone's own record - balances, policies, payday
Performance & growth
Development that happens all year, not every December.
- 1:1s with shared agendas and carry-over action items
- Goals and OKRs that cascade and auto-close
- Review cycles, 360 feedback, a succession 9-box for managers and HR, and a privacy-gated manager coach
Learning & development
Assign it. Learn it. Track it.
- Courses with readings, video and server-graded quizzes; paths for journeys
- Mandatory training that auto-enrols new hires and renews on expiry
- Certificates in the register, training reports and ISO-ready compliance evidence
Compliance & platform
The unglamorous parts, done properly.
- Documents, e-signature, right-to-work and certification tracking
- GDPR tooling: subject-access exports, anonymise-on-exit, retention purge
- Roles, SSO (OIDC), 2FA, a read API and HMAC-signed webhooks
- HR case files, an ER register, a workplace incident log and the accident book
A look inside
The same people, teams and permissions - seen from every angle. This is the real interface, not a stock photo.
The unglamorous stuff, done gloriously
Everything a growing company actually needs - not a demo-ware checklist.
Onboarding & offboarding checklists
Templates with owners and due dates: pre-start HR tasks, day-1, week-1, 30/60-day check-ins - and a proper leaver flow with equipment return, access revocation and an exit questionnaire.
Documents, e-sign & right-to-work
Contracts and policies with visibility controls, legally-trackable e-signatures (name, timestamp, IP), a right-to-work register with expiry reminders, and certification tracking.
Attendance & timesheets
Clock in and out from any device, live who's-in view, timesheets managers can approve - and forgotten clock-outs are closed automatically so they never inflate anyone's hours.
Surveys & weekly eNPS
A multi-question survey builder plus a one-tap weekly eNPS pulse - results always aggregated, never per-person.
Org chart & directory
A living org chart from real reporting lines, and a searchable directory with skills, pronouns, locations and work styles.
Reports & exports
Headcount, turnover, absence cost, gender pay gap, allowance liability - plus a custom report builder and CSV export of anything.
Roles, SSO & 2FA
Admin / HR / manager / employee roles with real separation, OIDC single sign-on, TOTP 2FA, session tracking and sign-out-everywhere.
API & webhooks
A read API behind hashed keys, and HMAC-signed webhooks on joiners, leavers, leave decisions and kudos - wire CoDash into anything.
In-app guides & help library
Guided setup for admins, HR and managers built into the product - plus a help library and an installable PWA your team can use on their phones.
Common questions
Is CoDash really all in one tool, or separate products bolted together?
One tool. Time off, expenses, learning, performance, community, hiring, benefits, documents and compliance all read from the same people, teams and reporting lines - so leave knows who covers for whom, performance knows who reports to whom, and permissions apply everywhere at once. It isn't a suite of apps sharing a login.
Can we turn off the modules we don't need?
Yes. Modules like attendance, overtime and expenses are switches in company settings, and what each role can see and do is a permission matrix an admin controls. You can run CoDash as just time off and people, or turn on the rest as you grow.
How long does it take to get set up?
Most companies are live in a day. The CSV importer creates people and teams in bulk with per-row error reporting and optional invitation emails, every new workspace ships with sensible UK defaults - leave types, policies, starter courses - and a setup checklist walks you through the rest.
Is our data private, even from managers?
Privacy is in the architecture, not a promise. Individual mood check-ins never reach manager accounts, anonymous feedback is stored with no author field, team aggregates are withheld below a k-anonymity threshold, and every employee has a who's-accessed-my-record panel. Data is hosted in Europe.
