CoDash vs Factorial
Factorial is a broad, modular business platform from Barcelona with a UK presence. Here is where it reaches further than CoDash, and what a UK buyer should check before comparing the two.
Factorial is a modular platform that goes beyond HR into finance and IT, including procurement, software management and device management. CoDash is a UK-built company dashboard that includes its whole product in one published plan. Factorial publishes a starting price only - "Factorial starts at £5.40 per month, per user" - with a 14-licence minimum in the UK and each module quoted separately. CoDash publishes its full price list: £99 a month including 20 people, then £2.50 per person.
Where is Factorial strong?
- Breadth beyond HR. Alongside time, talent and expenses, Factorial lists projects, procurement, software subscription management, inventory, mobile device management and endpoint security. CoDash has an asset register but does not manage devices or procurement.
- E-signature in the core. Every plan includes "Factorial Core", with a legal e-signature, document templates and multi-level approvals.
- Time clocking options, including QR and geolocation clock-in, and mobile apps on both app stores.
- An established customer base. Factorial says more than 17,000 companies use it every day.
If you want one supplier for HR, spend and IT assets, and you are content to build a package module by module, Factorial covers more ground than CoDash does.
Where is CoDash different?
- A complete public price list. Factorial's pricing page has no named plans or module prices: "Just tell us what you need, and we'll tailor one to you." CoDash's two plans and per-person rates are on the pricing page.
- No seat minimum. Factorial's seat conditions set a minimum of 14 licences for the United Kingdom, billed "regardless of the actual usage". CoDash includes the first 20 people in the base price.
- UK company, English law. CoDash Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Factorial's terms are with Everyday Software, S.L. of Barcelona, are governed by Spanish law and name the courts of Barcelona.
- Written for UK rules. CoDash's guides, templates and compliance registers are built around UK law - right to work, the working time opt-out, UK statutory leave and holiday rules - by a UK team. See the employer resources.
- Privacy in the architecture. One database per customer, hosted in the EU (France); anonymous feedback stored with no author column; manager-facing survey figures gated by k-anonymity.
