Hours that record themselves honestly
Clock in and out from a phone; a forgotten clock-out closes itself at the usual finish rather than inventing a 14-hour day. Timesheets build from the clocks, per person, per week.
Rotas that reach the floor
Draft the week per team, adjust, then publish in one go - everyone affected gets an email with their shifts, because a rota behind a login isn't a rota. Employees see their own published shifts only; drafts stay in the office.
Overtime that ends up paid, not promised
Extra hours go in with a date and duration, managers approve them as TOIL or flag them for pay, and finance sees a payout view with weekday and weekend multipliers applied server-side plus a payroll-ready CSV. Marking them paid tells the person.
The registers HSE and auditors expect
Working-time 48-hour opt-outs per person, the accident book and incident log as living registers, DSE assessments for the office side, and policies published with acknowledgement evidence. Worth knowing the scale of what goes unrecorded: the ONS measures 4.4 sickness days per worker from the Labour Force Survey while CIPD's survey of employer records finds 9.4 - the gap is absence nobody wrote down, which is what honest clock and absence records close.

Common questions
Do employees need a computer?
No - CoDash installs on a phone as a PWA. Clock in, see shifts, request leave and read notices from the floor.
Can different sites run different rotas?
Yes - rotas are drafted and published per team, and managers only see teams in their own reporting line.
How are weekend overtime rates handled?
Company-level weekday and weekend multipliers are applied server-side, so the payout view and the CSV always agree with policy.
Does the rota check rest breaks?
Not yet - the rota records and publishes shifts but doesn't currently warn about Working Time Regulations rest gaps. We'd rather tell you that plainly than let you assume it.
