HR software for creative & digital agencies
Agencies don't fail on talent - they fail on burnout, kit chaos and people leaving for a title. CoDash covers the people side so the studio can stay on the work.
CoDash gives a creative, digital or design agency one dashboard for people, time off, kit, growth and culture - with the crunch-recovery machinery (TOIL, overtime, wellbeing signals) that project work actually generates. Billable time and utilisation stay in your project tools, deliberately.
Crunch that gets paid back
Late nights before a launch become overtime entries the person submits in seconds - approved into TOIL that shows in their leave balance, or flagged for pay and settled from the finance team's own payout view with weighted hours and a payroll-ready CSV. Nothing relies on someone remembering a promise made at 11pm.
A studio that's half in, half remote
Weekly working patterns with per-day overrides, a who's-where board for today, and the team week on one screen - so booking a shoot, a workshop or a client day starts from what's true, not a guess. Leave and cover sit on the same calendar with capacity guardrails.
Every Mac, tablet and licence accounted for
The asset register ties kit to people: what was issued, when, and what comes back at offboarding - which the leaver checklist chases automatically. No more shared spreadsheet named FINAL_kit_v7.
Progression people can see
A skills matrix across the team, career frameworks with levels and behavioural indicators, 1:1s with shared agendas, review cycles with 360 - the difference between "we should talk about your development" and actually doing it. Agencies lose people to titles; this is the retention counterweight.
Culture that isn't a Slack channel
A feed with kudos and automatic celebrations, weekly anonymous pulse, and a voice channel stored with no author column at all - honest signal from the team, with k-anonymity maths making sure nobody can be singled out.
What we deliberately don't do
Billable hours, utilisation and project profitability belong in your project stack - Harvest, Float, your PM tool. CoDash is the HR system beside them: same people, none of the double-entry. If a tool needs timesheet exports, ours are CSV out of the box.

Common questions
Can it handle freelancers and contractors alongside staff?
Yes - employment types are configurable (full-time, part-time, contract, freelance), each person carries their own working pattern and pro-rata leave, and offboarding cleans up properly, including kit return.
Does CoDash track billable time against clients?
No, deliberately. Utilisation is agency operations, not HR - it belongs in your project tools. CoDash holds the people side: leave, TOIL, overtime, growth and culture, with CSV exports where your other tools want data.
How fast can a 40-person agency be live?
Usually a day. The CSV importer creates people and teams in bulk with per-row error reporting, every workspace ships with UK defaults, and a setup checklist walks the rest. Pricing is public.
Can managers see individual mood scores?
No. Individual check-ins never reach manager accounts, aggregates are withheld below the k-anonymity threshold, and anonymous submissions have no author field. The privacy is structural, not a policy promise - how it works.
